"The Red Wheel Barrow" William C. Williams
I feel that this poem is expressing that everything has to be just picture perfect. Because what other "happy color" can you make white stand out with the best ,and when you think of a wheel barrow or a wagon what color is it usually? Blue is calming and not exciting and most other colors are too light or too dark so that leaves you with some color if you go into detail mixed with red. It also goes with the chickens comb compliments its yellow legs. This is the perfect picture with the shinny wheel barrow and white chickens. So overall I think that the author is questioning why so much depends on image and, perfection, and to be like everyone else.
