Homework#2 Tuesday

gone, gone, gone
Isaiah 28:16Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.
In this song the composer is speaking of a significant other and the line "You are my cornerstone" suggests that the composer’s significant other is the most important thing in their life. That they feel like they can't live without their significant other being there for them and vice versa. The author could have said life, or strength or any other adjective but this one word encompasses everything. This also worked better with the song and adding a lot of descriptive words would have make it long and drawn out more like an old country song than an upbeat contemporary song.

p.s. I did not copy this I put in word to check the word count and it came out looking like this.
