Homework #2 AMSCO work

Score:7/7

I least know the stories of Hermes, Daedalus, and Penelope the least although I didn't know these I did know the ones they were compared with and made an educated guess. In greek mythology Daedalus was a great an honored architect who designed the labrynith or the cage that held the minotaur captive, however he was held captive in his creation. he knew he could escape with the wax wings he created by his son was foolish and flew too close to the sun god apollo and fell to his death, this is a symbolic story to the dangers of entering "the realm of the gods".Penelope is the faithful wide of Odysseus in the Odyssey who awaits his return while turning down any other possible suitors And Hermes is the greek God of commerce and the guide to the souls of the dead.
