Homework#10 Monday "He's Blind for a reason"

In the book "Kite Runner" By; Kahaled Hosseini the main character’s father is the one that is "blind" for about half of the book. He is concerned with his personal gain and can't understand his son because he is not a "manly man". He is always aggravating Amir about not fighting back, and when Amir's best friend gets raped Amir doesn't tell anyone especially his father because he is afraid he will disown him. Amir’s father is also never there as well as the fact that he is hiding demons that are haunting him constantly as the boys grow apart after the incident. When they escape to the United States Amir’s father is also not cultural and doesn’t realize that most of the people from Russia or other  that have come to the US like his doctor are not soldiers or spies trying to steal government secrets or hurt them.
